Once called a, "Young Tom Hanks" by HBO Aspen Comedy Festival executives where he performed his solo show,  "Child's Play", Alan continues to bring new work to the stage and screen.  After working professionally on stage, film and TV in NY & DC, Alan took some national commercial money to come out west to study with the late, Sanford Meisner, where he became the only actor/writer to have performed their work at the HBO Workspace, Comedy Central Stage, PSNBC, Aspen Comedy Festival, AND even the HBO Corporate office screening room.   His play "RAP", won AAPEX's Best New Play in 2012, after playing to packed houses in LA. Currently Alan can be seen in the pilot, "I Love You But..." and in the title role of the soon-to-be-released film, "Dear Mr. Johnson".  Each April, Alan tours the country to promote autism awareness through his solo play, "A Child Left Behind"("Compelling... Aymie proves first rate" - LA TIMES).  He recently published his first book, "Turning Points" and currently, Alan lives in LA with his wife and children.
