| Alan Aymie is a
critically acclaimed writer, actor and playwright. His
one-man shows have been seen in NY, LA, as well as the
U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado. He has
worked professionally on film, TV and the stage in NY,
DC and LA. He has appeared on stage at such theaters
as the Kennedy Center, Folger Library and The New Shakespeare
Theater. Alan’s first one-man show, The Sheik Comes
to Cooper’s Coffee was seen in New York and was
later followed by Songs My Father Taught Me,
and Child’s PlayJ(USCAF). Other plays include,
RaTS iN THe CoffeeHouSe, and RAP (Minneapolis
Playwright's Center Finalist). Most recently, his play,
Prepare For Landing was selected for the Iowa
University short play competion. Alan is a founding
member of BIRTHWRITE productions which recently co-produced
(along with Hot Freaks Films) the LA Film Festival entry,
YOU WERE PERFECTLY FINE and most recently,
THE PASSION OF THE COUCH (Faux Film Festival
- Portland, OR). Currently, Alan lives in Beverly Hills,
CA with his wife and two children, where he continues
to focus on bringing new work to the stage and screen.
